Meet the Team

  • President, Treasurer, Board Member (He/Him)

    Dr. Madigan Psy.D. (he, him, his), serves as President, Treasurer, and Board Member of the Boston Child Study Center (BCSC) Foundation. In these roles, he is responsible for overseeing the foundation’s initiatives and goals and oversees the Foundation’s financial administration. In addition to these roles, Dr. Madigan is the founder and director of the Boston Child Study Center (BCSC) outpatient mental health clinics located in Massachusetts, California, and Maine. He founded BCSC in 2013 with the mission to improve the lives of youth and families through improving treatment outcomes, expanding access to evidence-based treatment, community education and training, and research.

  • Vice-President, Board Member (He/Him)

    Nathan Lambright, Psy.D., serves as Vice President and Board Member of the BCSC Foundation. In his roles, Nathan shares in the strategic planning, hiring process, and the assessment of the Foundation’s progress and its needs.

    In addition to these roles, Nathan is also the co-director of the Boston Child Study Center and holds an appointment at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He has previously served as the Clinical Director, Senior Clinical Director, and Vice President of Clinical Services in the Educational Services Division at the May Institute. Throughout these experiences, Nathan has developed specialized knowledge of US and Massachusetts special education regulations, licensure regulations, and IEP procedures that he brings to his work with the BCSC Foundation.

    Nathan received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Rutgers University. He trained as a behavioral consultant at the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center (DDDC). Prior to leaving DDDC, he received specialized training in behavioral consultation to public schools across New Jersey, and served as Program Coordinator for Home School Consultation Services overseeing home service teams. As part of this training he completed intensive coursework in applied behavior analysis and is currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the Doctoral Level (BCBA-D) and a licensed behavior analyst in Massachusetts (LABA).

    Nathan also trained at the Rutgers Tourette’s Syndrome Program where he received intensive training in the Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and Exposure and Response Prevention for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Nathan completed a pre-doctoral internship at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Ontario, Canada, where he was trained in neurodevelopment and neuropsychological testing in a range of specialty clinics, as well as the application and dissemination of behavioral treatment in community-based settings.

    Nathan provides consultation to a variety of Boston area school districts. He is a member of the Association for Behavior and Cognitive Therapies, American Psychological Association, Division 53 (Child and Adolescent Psychology), and the Tourette Syndrome Association of America. He has delivered numerous talks and workshops internationally.

  • Clerk, Board Member (She/Her)

    Beth Jerskey, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Her clinical interests are primarily with children with developmental disabilities. Trained as a neuropsychologist, she is the Director of Autism Spectrum Disorder Services, Director of Clinical Training, and the Director of Research and Professional Development at the Boston Child Study Center and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

    Beth has a longstanding interest in advocacy both at the state and federal level. Locally, she sits on the Massachusetts Autism Commission’s Birth to 14 Subcommittee as well as the Massachusetts Psychological Association’s Advocacy Committee. At the national level, she is the Federal Advocacy Coordinator for the state of Massachusetts. She was recently appointed to the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Division 31 Ethics Taskforce.

    Beth is a very active member of both the Rhode Island Psychological Association and Massachusetts Psychological Association. She is also currently serving as a Director At Large for the Massachusetts Psychological Association and is the Chair of the Rhode Island Psychological Association’s Ethics Committee. She also is a standing member of Butler Hospital’s Institutional Review Board. In support of children on the autism spectrum and their families, she supports Boston Medical Center’s Autism Friendly Initiative and is part of both their Steering Committee and Scientific Advisory Board.

    In addition to being a founding Board Member and the Clerk for the Boston Child Study Center Foundation, Beth is also the Vice President and Funding Coordinator for Bailey’s Team for Autism, a grassroots organization aimed at supporting autistic individuals and their families.

    Beth has a passion for research and training. She has been awarded funding supported by the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the Epilepsy Foundation and she has co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles. Beth has also served in different training departments for over a dozen years. One of her greatest professional joys is supervising students and trainees.

  • Board Member (She/Her)

    Olivia MacDonald earned her Bachelor of Health Science, in Public Health in 2017 from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. During undergrad, Olivia volunteered with the Greater Lowell Health Alliance to roll out a Community Health Needs Assessment to help identify barriers in the community. Since graduation, Olivia has had a steady commitment to serving underserved communities by expanding access to basic healthcare services.

    Olivia brings years of experience in community outreach, continuing education planning and implementation, as well as grant writing. Olivia draws from her experience at Mass General Brigham where she worked in the Continuing Professional Development Department. During this time Olivia worked closely with MGB Clinicians to implement a wide range of educational programming to improve clinical practice and advance professional development.

  • Creative, Brand Consultant (She/Her)

    Xana Turner-Owens is the web developer, creative editor and design consultant for the BCSC Foundation. In her role, she is responsible for managing the Foundation’s website and online social platforms.

    Xana is also a writer, photographer, creative brand consultant, and social media strategist. She has worked with several local restaurants and brands as a photographer, consultant and social media manager. She is the founder of HOMEBODY, a food and wellness website featuring recipes, projects, and practices related to health and well-being. She is a contributing writer and photographer for Edible Boston, and has worked with publications like Reviewed and Food 52.

    She attended The New School and Wesleyan University for her undergraduate career and pursued writing at Harvard Extension School for Continued Education.
